As valued colleagues in the Vietnam NGO sphere, we would like to extend an invitation to your organisation to participate in this tour, by nominating a representative of your organisation to join our event. Our offer will see CRED cover all travel, food and accommodation costs for your nominated representative. In return for taking up this offer we will be asking participating NGOs to donate a nominal amount of 2,000,000VND towards either our Hoang Su Phi Project Community Fund or our companion Infrastructure Development Fund (both of which are managed by a board comprising of CRED staff and local village residents, and regular progress reports provided to donors).
Our tour is not for the type of rider who wants to speed through a full day of cycling and do nothing but ride-sleep-eat. Our tour is for riders who want the opportunity to meet the locals, have time to stop for photos and to ‘smell the roses’, all while enjoying a ride along dirt trails that have connected villages and villagers for generations. The tour though will have one day that is a race/timed stage. This is the last day and is only really to ensure riders get back to Thong Nguyen asap as we will have a bus waiting to take them back to Hanoi.
This package will target riders who are medium level of fitness, and who are confident riding a bicycle on uneven and dirt surfaces. Our team will ensure all tour participants are well looked after. In addition to great trails we will also provide First Aid services (in the case of injury), accommodation in quality homestays, suitable mountain bikes (if needed), breakfast/lunch/dinner each day and a support crew to assist and/or pick up tired riders.
