Cabin Interpreter for Workshop in Hanoi

Established and registered as a member organization of Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Association (VUSTA), Center for Rural Economy Development (CRED), a Vietnamese non-profit organisation dedicates for the elimination of poverty and greater inclusion of disadvantaged groups including the poor, women, youth and ethnic minorities through greater participation and benefits from sustainable development and economic growth. CRED’s main operations includes:

  • Manage and implement development projects from build project concept note/ full proposal to project detailed working plan, implementation and management;
  • Package services in agro-forestry from consulting on certification of standards, training/coaching, providing tailor-made technical and technological solutions in sustainable agriculture and forestry to providing market information, trade promotion and business matchmaking;
  • Packaged services in sustainable and responsible tourism range from selection, development and management to training and promotion of destinations

The Swiss Tourism for Sustainable Development (ST4SD) project is funded by The Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) for a duration of four years, from April 2023 to March 2027, implemented by and Center for Rural Economy Development (CRED) and HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation in Vietnam (Helvetas Vietnam).

The main objective of the ST4SD project is to contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive tourism sector in Vietnam. In the long term, the project aims to support the creation of new livelihoods and promote sustainable economic development in the country.

One of the crucial components is component 2: Strengthening Vietnamese training institutions to provide quality training and develop skills and expertise in sustainable tourism. The project will assist in the selection and enhancement of these institutions. In order to choose the training institutions for component 2, CRED cooperates with partners to organize the workshop “Roundtable discussion on Executive Hospitality Training”

We need a bilingual English – Vietnamese interpreter for this workshop

Duration: from  7:30  to 17:30 on 15/08/2023

Location: Candle Hotel, 301 Doi Can, Ba Dinh, Hanoi

Interpretation form: Cabin interpreter

Job requirements:

  • Cabin interpreter of all presentations, speeches, Q&A … in workshop from English to Vietnamese or from Vietnamese to English 

Service provider requirements:

  • Being Vietnamese, with at least 3 year of experience in cabin interpreter English – Vietnamese for workshops. Knowledge in tourism is an advantage
  • University degree in English, or equivalent
