Cabin Interpreter for Workshop in Hanoi

The Center for Rural Economy Development (CRED) is implementing the Regional Biotrade project – Phase II (BioTrade SECO), funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) to support the Vietnamese small and medium enterprises in the natural ingredients sector improve their export capacity of sustainable products combined with biodiversity conservation.

In order to provide basic knowledge about soil nutrition, microbiome, heavy metal pollution issues, as well as skills to observe soil condition, and take soil samples for testing … to support Producers develop effective land management plans in the short and long term, CRED cooperates with partners to organize the workshop “Improving Soil Health in a Sustainable Agriculture“

We need a bilingual English – Vietnamese interpreter for this workshop

Duration: from  7:30  t0 7:30 on August 1, 2023

Location: Hoa Binh hotel, 27 Ly Thuong Kiet Str., Hoan Kiem and fieldtrip in Phu Xuyen. Both are in Ha Nôi.

Interpretation form: Cabin interpreter in the morning and direct in the afternoon .

Job requirements:

• Cabin interpreter of all presentations, speeches, Q&A … in workshop from English to Vietnamese or from Vietnamese to English 
• Direct interpreter for foreign experts and all discussions between experts and participants in field trip.

Service provider requirements:

• Being Vietnamese, with at least 1 year of experience in cabin interpreter English – Vietnamese for workshops and field trips. Knowledge in agriculture is an advantage
• University degree in English, agriculture or equivalent
