Introduction
Established and registered as a member organization of Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Association (VUSTA), Center for Rural Economy Development (CRED), a Vietnamese non-profit organisation dedicates for the elimination of poverty and greater inclusion of disadvantaged groups including the poor, women, youth and ethnic minorities through greater participation and benefits from sustainable development and economic growth. CRED’s main operations includes:
- Manage and implement development projects from build project concept note/ full proposal to project detailed working plan, implementation and management;
- Package services in agro-forestry from consulting on certification of standards, training/coaching, providing tailor-made technical and technological solutions in sustainable agriculture and forestry to providing market information, trade promotion and business matchmaking;
- Packaged services in sustainable and responsible tourism range from selection, development and management to training and promotion of destinations.
CRED is now implementing the project “Banana fiber – Economic opportunities – Environmental Solutions” funded by the Germany Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through Helvetas Intercooperation gGmbH. The Project supported to three cooperatives in the provinces of Lao Cai, Son La, and Phu Tho to use technology to product banana fiber, handicrafts, and bio-fertilizers from banana trunks after harvested.
We are looking a qualified service provider (Individual or Organisation) to develop videos that documentary summarizing the project in three provinces: Phu Tho, Lao Cai, and Son La.
Key tasks
- Build scripts for 03 documentary videos for cooperative in provinces of Phu Tho, Lao Cai, and Son La;
- Produce 03 videos based on CRED’s approved scripts;
- Edited 3 sets of photos to record the entire project activities in 03 provinces in form of Photovoice
Time and Location:
- Time: From October, 2023, 5 – 30
- Location: in Hanoi, Phu Tho, Lao Cai and Son La
Expected Results
- 3 documentary videos, each at least 15 minutes long, in Vietnamese with English subtitles
- 3 set of photovoices that describe entire project’s activities based on photos provided by CRED and additional photos taken by service provider
Service provider requirements
- A minimum 05 years relevant work experience in media production, including photos and videos
- Be competent to perform the proposed tasks;
- Able to complete tasks on time with good quality
